The American Chemical Society (ACS) and Royal Society for Chemistry (RSC) University of Calabar International Students Chapter, Nigeria, presented an award of recognition and certificate of appreciation to Senator (Associate Prof) Stephen Odey, Thursday, February 19, 2025, for contributing to and inspiring the next generation of women scientists, and for dedication to empowering girls in STEM, especially Chemistry, which is truly commendable.
The award dated February 11, 2025 was presented by Chemist, Faith Sutu Patrick-Inezi, Faculty Adviser, ASC and RSC Unical Nigeria. The Commissioner expressed his appreciation to the ACS for the recognition and certificate of appreciation for his contributions and inspiring the next generation, noting that his service to humanity and the society at large can only get better, as he dedicated the award to the Governor, Senator Apostle Prince Bassey Edet Otu for his uncommon determination to transform the State.
